Sire: Supreme Champion Commanche Ace

This stunning colt is by the fantastic Elite Dual Graded Stallion Commanche Ace and has a superb temperament combined with excellent conformation and movement. He is a full brother to the outstanding filly Heiland Esmerelda who was coloured Champion at the British National Foal of the Year Show in 2005. Kimba is a very strikingly marked black and white colt foaled May 2007 – he is a substantial little man, with a beautiful head, great quality bone and feather and is a lovely mover.
His sire is the famous Commanche Ace, an outstanding coloured traditional stallion standing 13.2hh and with 8¾ inches of bone, an amazing mane and tail, beautiful head and striking markings. Commanche Ace has proved himself on countless occasions in the showring both ridden and in hand. Between 1995 and 2000 he had won over 60 classes and been supreme or reserve champion over 30 times. In 1999 his results were proved by being awarded Elite Showing Status with both CHAPS (UK) and BSPA. He has taken part in Queens Golden Jubilee celebration `All The Queens Horses`, and in 2006 returned to the ring in hand for The Royal Windsor Show where in a huge class he took the top honours.
His progeny are all doing well in their chosen careers and many have been champions in the show ring. His grandaughter Gemini took the Yearling Final at the CHAPS (UK) Championships in 2005, along with many other wins and championships throughout the season. Heiland Esmerelda superb filly by Ace out of a large native mare won her class at the British National Foal Of The Year Show and went on to become Coloured Champion.
Although unshown to date, Kimba's dam is a beautiful 15hh native coloured mare who has a fantastic front, really strong and powerful backend, wonderful mover (really extravagant and floating action) and lovely gentle temperament. She exudes pure quality in her type, conformation and action and it is no surprise that all three of her foals have been absolutely exquisite and top quality.
Kimba has great markings on both sides and looks like being a slightly bigger, more striking version of his sister with a bit more bone and feather. I think he has a beautiful front and strong back end and is a fantastic mover like his dam. I genuinely believe that this is truly a fantastic colt with everything he could need to make it to the very top as stallion of the future, under saddle, in hand or in harness. It is only very reluctantly that this colt may be offered for sale to an exceptional home. I only breed as a hobby and have kept most of my foals from the last few years and only have the two coloured mares, his dam and full sister, so he would be wasted with me! He will be registered CHAPS and BSPA and wormed regularly and well halter broken before he leaves at weaning and can also be vaccinated at new owners request.
If you are looking for an exceptional colt then please contact me - this is a striking and substantial colt that is also beautifully marked so very genuine and serious enquiries only please. POA - priced to reflect his quality but home is more important than price so may be negotiable to top family show home. I would love to see this colt stay entire and I dont often say that but I would be equally happy to see him gelded and go out under saddle.
If the right home doesnt come up then this colt will be retained very happily! He should have a 50% chance of being homozygous for colour but has not been tested yet. Please contact me for heaps of photos of him and his family.
